Writing up about gotye and lady gaga's music videos and doing some comparisons

Well last week, as this is when i officially started writing about it, i viewed 2 videos and decided to compare the music, so after watching the lady gaga video i decided that lady gaga is continuing to create her own unique style of music and this shows in her videos as the whole concept is constantly changing so lighting is changing whilst all of the background also changes, this might be to represent the different states of romance or of someone's mind.

The camera angles are always different and the camera does move around the set and doesn't stay static unlike the gotye video where the camera sits pretty much in the same spot for the whole video, however lady gaga's video is a very over the top affair and doesn't have the simplistic beauty of the gotye video

The gotye video is very simple, a half-naked guy starts to sing and as he does the walls begin to get painted in triangles and so does he and the a half-naked lady also emerges and they sing together until
she leaves.

Now this video doesn't have a mass of expensive sets or back-up dancer it's just a simple down to earth videos also the use of in-video art really brings it alive and makes it a wonderful video to watch
